After a string of three wins, the Chazy Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seton Catholic Central. Chazy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Aiden Pearl was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 31 rebounds for Seton Catholic Central. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Pearl has scored at least a third of Seton Catholic Central's points.

Chazy's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Seton Catholic Central, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14.

Chazy will head out on the road to face off against the Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Indian Lake Central is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Seton Catholic Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New York (Johnsburg Central is ranked 847th, while the Knights are ranked 831st).
