Football Game Preview: Maryvale vs. Fredonia/Brocton

On Friday Maryvale will take on Fredonia/Brocton at 7:00 PM. Maryvale are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.

Maryvale came into their this week averaging 44.5 points per game, but Maryvale fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They took a 7-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cheektowaga. The low total for Maryvale limited their streak of high-flying scores to three in a row.

Meanwhile, Fredonia/Brocton put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-6 margin over Dunkirk. The win was familiar territory for Fredonia/Brocton, who now have seven in a row.

Fredonia/Brocton's victory lifted them to 7-0 while Maryvale's defeat dropped them down to 5-2. We'll see if Fredonia/Brocton's success rolls on or if Maryvale are able to steal their positive momentum.
