Sweetwater's tournament run continued when they took on Hoover on Wednesday. Sweetwater had to suffer through a 66-32 loss at the hands of Hoover. The contest marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Mount Miguel, as they earned their first road win of the season. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Otay Ranch 54-51.

Sweetwater now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Mount Miguel, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
