Soccer Recap: Shepard's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

It's playoff time, and Shepard had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rich Township Raptors on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1.

Bryce Johns and Michael Camarena scored both of Shepard's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Shepard's victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14-1. As for Rich Township, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Looking ahead, Shepard will head out on the road to challenge Stagg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stagg's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Rich Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
