After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Belleville East, Jersey was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Calhoun Warriors by a score of 5-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jersey's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Beemer, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Jersey's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Calhoun, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jersey will welcome Civic Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Calhoun, they will face off against Routt Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
