Softball Recap: Seminole Takes a Loss

Seminole lost against Osceola back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Seminole lost 11-1 to Osceola. That's two games in a row now that the Warhawks have lost by exactly ten runs.

Seminole saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Beardsley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Seminole has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. Osceola pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole will welcome St. Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Seminole is facing St. Petersburg at the right time seeing as St. Petersburg is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Osceola, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Osceola's pitchers better be ready for this one: Northeast has averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
