Baseball Game Preview: South Plantation Paladins vs. Highlands Christian Knights

The South Plantation Paladins are taking a road trip to square off against the Highlands Christian Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Thursday, South Plantation came up short against Coral Glades and fell 6-2. The Paladins have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Lucas Decordova was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Highlands Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 20-1 margin over Sports Leadership & Management. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Cobras recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Jacob Tullier made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Tullier was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Steven Perals was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one double. Josiah Tullier was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
