Softball Game Preview: Mishawaka Marian Knights vs. Tippecanoe Valley Vikings

The Mishawaka Marian Knights will head out to take on the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Mishawaka Marian fell victim to NorthWood and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 10-0.

Mishawaka Marian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elle Boser, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Tippecanoe Valley came up short against Winamac on Tuesday and fell 6-2.

Dalynne Bussard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

Mishawaka Marian beat Tippecanoe Valley 6-2 when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
