Basketball Game Preview: Rainier Beach Vikings vs. Kentwood Conquerors

The Rainier Beach Vikings will venture away from home to challenge the Kentwood Conquerors at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Rainier Beach comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Saturday, Rainier Beach was beaten by Nathan Hale 61-17.

Meanwhile, Kentwood played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Tahoma and fell 74-30. While losing is never fun, the Conquerors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Bears are ranked 14th).

Rainier Beach's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Kentwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
