Basketball Recap: Seton Catholic Takes a Loss

Seton Catholic has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 42-34 to the Winslow Bulldogs on Thursday.

Defeat or not, Seton Catholic got some senior leadership from Mia Dipuccio and Carmella Gallardo. Dipuccio dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds, while Gallardo posted 16 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. That was a full 47.1% of Seton Catholic's points, marking the fifth time in a row Gallardo has earned more than a third of the team's points.

Seton Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Winslow, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-18.

Seton Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winslow, they will take on Ganado at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
