Volleyball Game Preview: Olympia Titans vs. Lake Nona Lions

The Olympia Titans will square off against the Lake Nona Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Olympia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Dr. Phillips as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Meanwhile, Lake Nona beat Cypress Creek 3-1 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won eight in a row.

Lake Nona's win came from a few key players Olympia will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jocelyn Serra, who had 26 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Leilany Starling was another key player, getting 13 digs and three assists.

Olympia's record is now 19-3. As for Lake Nona, their record now sits at 14-11.
