Volleyball Recap: Graham-Kapowsin Victorious

Graham-Kapowsin took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Kennedy Catholic, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Lancers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since October 23, 2024.

Graham-Kapowsin was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-11, 15-25, 25-14, 15-7.

Carmen Stewart had a dynamite game, getting 17 digs and four aces. Those 17 digs gave her a new career-high. Kyla Kennedy was another key player, getting ten digs and eight assists.

Graham-Kapowsin has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Graham-Kapowsin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Mt. Rainier on the 11th. As for Kennedy Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Skyline on the 13th.
