Volleyball Recap: Bastrop Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Bastrop had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Crockett Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Bastrop won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Crockett lost, don't look at Jayden Baker. Despite the final result, she had five digs and four aces. Delilah Soto also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Bastrop's victory bumped their record up to 29-11. As for Crockett, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-22.

Bastrop has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Anderson on the 21st. Crockett has also already played their next contest (against Navarro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
