Basketball Recap: Roanoke-Benson Gets the Win

The third road match was the charm for Roanoke-Benson, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 45-32 win over the Henry-Senachwine Mallards on Friday. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mallards, too.

Roanoke-Benson picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Henry-Senachwine, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Roanoke-Benson will be home for the holidays to greet Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henry-Senachwine, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wethersfield at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
