Soccer Recap: Stockbridge Valley Comes Up Short at Home Against Mt. Markham

Stockbridge Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Mt. Markham Mustangs on Thursday, falling 8-0.

Stockbridge Valley and Mt. Markham will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Indians see the pitch they'll take on McGraw at 4:30 p.m. on September 29. As for Mt. Markham, their break will end when they face Herkimer at 7:00 p.m. on September 11.
