Baseball Recap: Mojave Takes a Loss

Mojave lost against Lone Pine back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 12-1 to the Golden Eagles. The Mustangs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Mojave saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Aranda, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Mojave's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lone Pine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mojave will square off against rival Trona at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lone Pine is set to challenge their familiar foe Immanuel Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
