Football Game Preview: American Heritage Stallions vs. Bayside Bears + How To Watch

The American Heritage Stallions will face off against the Bayside Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. American Heritage's defense has only allowed 14.3 points per game this season, so Bayside's offense will have their work cut out for them.

American Heritage made up a huge gap compared to their last game against NSU University, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Stallions fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 23-21 on Friday. The Stallions have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Marcus Stracke, who threw for 222 yards and one touchdown. A healthy portion of that aerial production (93 yards to be exact) went to Johanthan Cesar, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bayside, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They took down Cocoa Beach 28-14 on Friday. The Bears' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

American Heritage better keep an eye on Joshua Estime. He was instrumental in Bayside's win, rushing for 75 yards and three scores.

Bayside's run defense was locked in: Cocoa Beach could only muster 1.3 yards per carry. The Bears' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.4.

Bayside's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for American Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
