Soccer Game Preview: Jerome vs. Twin Falls

The Jerome Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Twin Falls Bruins at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Jerome took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They blew past Burley 5-1. Considering Jerome have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Twin Falls faced Jerome in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Bruins came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 4-2. Winning may never get old, but Twin Falls sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Twin Falls' win bumped their record up to 11-5-1. As for Jerome, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-3.

Jerome couldn't quite get it done against Twin Falls in their previous meeting on Monday as they fell 4-2. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
