Softball Recap: Hokes Bluff Gets the Win

Hokes Bluff took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Fayetteville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles skirted past the Wolves 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 28th.

Hokes Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Fayetteville, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-15.

Hokes Bluff wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 win against Childersburg on the 10th. As for Fayetteville, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Sand Rock on the 10th.
