Granbury extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Kyndal Cardwell. The Pirates came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Chisholm Trail Rangers thanks in part to Cardwell, who had 30 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Granbury had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-10.

Granbury's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Chisholm Trail, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granbury will welcome Ryan at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Chisholm Trail, they will host Paschal at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
