On Thursday, Redlands had to settle for second even though Julien Scarbrough put up the best numbers he has all season. Scarbrough picked up 260 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Redlands' success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't).

Redlands is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5. Scarbrough and Redlands will be playing at home against Beaumont at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
