Basketball Recap: Hart Drops Season-High Score on Mesrobian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hart). They blew past the Mesrobian Bulldogs 78-43 on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Hawks with their most commanding win of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Mesrobian lost, don't look at Nicholas Khatchikian. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 18 en route to 28 points and eight rebounds. Khatchikian's evening made it 15 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Khatchikian, who posted five points.

Hart moved to 9-14 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Mesrobian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hart will face off against Golden Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Golden Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.2 points per game this season. As for Mesrobian, they will be playing at home against Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
