Volleyball Recap: Chrisman Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chrisman saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawson Cardinals.

Chrisman's offense was headlined by Rubi Mathis and Ava Atagi, who picked up two kills apiece. Mathis also shared the team's lead in assists with Jazelle David: they picked up three each. Atagi was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Chrisman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Lawson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0-1.

Coincidentally, Chrisman and Lawson will both be playing Barstow the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will head out to face the Knights at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
