Volleyball Recap: Cali Ryerson Key Part of Team Effort in Hornets Win + How To Watch

Plattsburgh won the last time they faced Northern Adirondack and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bobcats.

Plattsburgh walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-18.

Plattsburgh's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cali Ryerson led the charge by getting six aces and four digs. That's the most aces Ryerson has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Marlie Walker, who had four digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Plattsburgh was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northern Adirondack only served four aces.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braelyn Bilow, who had ten digs and eight kills. Another player making a difference was Allison LaPoint, who had 11 digs and two blocks.

Plattsburgh's record is now 4-0. As for Northern Adirondack, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
