Latta had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They never let the Hannah-Pamplico Raiders get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Raiders back in April, they had to take a 9-8 defeat.

Latta secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Seth Minshew, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Zach Lane was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Latta's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Hannah-Pamplico, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

As of now, neither Latta nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
