Volleyball Recap: Euclid Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Euclid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Mentor Cardinals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-2, 25-2.

Mentor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Garrett, who had seven aces and three digs. Those seven aces gave Garrett a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaliah Evitts, who had six aces.

Euclid's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Mentor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Euclid does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mentor, they will face off against Medina at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
