Trojans lost in last year's 5A state title game but don't figure to in 2021.

The 2021 high school football season in Idaho kicks off next week and MaxPreps has your look at the state's top teams. Coming off a 10-1 campaign last fall, Rigby owns the No. 1 spot in our preseason rankings.

The Trojans won their first 10 games by a count of 415-164, before being defeated 17-14 in the state 5A championship by Rocky Mountain, which begins the season at No. 2.

Rigby features three-star prospect Tiger Adolpho, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound senior quarterback. He has college offers from Hawaii and Kansas.

Other defending state champions are Skyline (4A), Sugar-Salem (3A), West Side (2A) and Oakley and Dietrich (8-man).
