Dutch Fork faced Irmo in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Silver Foxes walked away with a 28-21 win over the Yellow Jackets. Winning may never get old, but the Silver Foxes sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dutch Fork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyle Henry, who rushed for 96 yards, and also caught one score.

Dutch Fork's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Irmo, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

Dutch Fork and Irmo will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Silver Foxes see the field they'll take on Boiling Springs at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Irmo, their break will end when they face Lugoff-Elgin at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th.
