After a string of four wins, Baldwyn's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Hatley Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Baldwyn couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Hatley a tough time in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 22-25, 27-25, 33-31.

When it comes to explaining why Baldwyn lost, don't look at Claire Kelly. Despite the final result, she had 34 digs and two aces. Kelly is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Baldwyn's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Hatley, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14.

Baldwyn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Walnut on the 30th. As for Hatley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Belmont on the 30th.
