Baseball Recap: Chartiers-Houston Comes Up Short

Chartiers-Houston suffered their closest defeat since April 26, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the California Trojans by a score of 6-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on Wednesday.

Chartiers-Houston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paul Williamson, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Another was Justus Buckingham, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Chartiers-Houston has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for California, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9-2.

As of now, neither Chartiers-Houston nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
