Baseball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

If Greenville was feeling good fresh off their 11-3 takedown of Poteet on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greenville Lions fell just short of Sunnyvale by a score of 7-6 on Saturday. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Greenville fell to 2-1. As for Sunnyvale, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Coincidentally, Greenville and Sunnyvale will both be playing Kaufman the next time they take the field. Greenville will head out to face Kaufman at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Sunnyvale will play them later in the day, at TBD.
