After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Farragut, Girls Prep was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Bradley Central Bears as Girls Prep made off with a 12-2 victory. The Bruisers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

Sky Marshall was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Marshall was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Sydney Lawson was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Addison Smith, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Girls Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Girls Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Bradley Central, they moved to 6-6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
