Basketball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Takes a Loss

Southeast Whitfield County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 39th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Allatoona Buccaneers and fell 80-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 97-26 back in December of 2024.

Southeast Whitfield County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Allatoona, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast Whitfield County and North Murray will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Allatoona, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hiram at 7:30 p.m.
