Research Triangle extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Kat Liquorie. The Raptors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Franklin Academy Patriots on Thursday for which the team can thank Liquorie, who had 15 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

While Research Triangle won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-23.

Research Triangle's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Franklin Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

As of now, neither Research Triangle nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
