Priddy extends home winning streak to nine

Recap: Priddy Pirates vs. Evant Elks

In what's become a running theme this season, the Priddy Pirates gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Evant with a sharp 66-40 win. The win was familiar territory for Priddy who now have four in a row.

Lindsey Grelle was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Andrade, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.

Despite the loss, Evant still got an impressive performance from Luwi Rodriguez, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Molly Waldrum, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.

Evant struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Priddy racked up 14 assists.

Priddy pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.6 points. As for Evant, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Priddy will head out on the road to square off against Gustine at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Averaging 52.15 points so far this season, Priddy's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Gustine better be ready for a challenge. As for Evant, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Zephyr at 6:00 p.m. Zephyr will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Evant surely won't give up without a fight.
