Volleyball Recap: Calexico Mission Comes Up Short

Calexico Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Borrego Springs Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-12.

Calexico Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Borrego Springs, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calexico Mission will square off against rival Warner at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Borrego Springs is set to challenge their familiar foe Julian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
