Football Recap: River View Comes Up Short

River View fell victim to Philo and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Electrics. The Black Bears have struggled against the Electrics recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

River View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Philo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River View will challenge West Muskingum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Philo, they will face off against Meadowbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Electrics will be up against the Colts' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
