Gateway lost to Aurora Central back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Olympians won by a set and slipped past the Trojans 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Olympians.

Gateway took Aurora Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 21-25, 13-25, 15-12.

Gateway's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Aurora Central, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
