Soccer Game Preview: Swansboro vs. Richlands

The Swansboro Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the Richlands Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Swansboro's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Croatan. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Swansboro.

Meanwhile, Richlands had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Patriots as they made off with an 8-1 victory. Kamrey Watkins was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Richlands' win bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for Swansboro, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-4.
