Soccer Recap: Rantoul Victorious

Rantoul proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by five) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Altamont Indians.

Alexis Perales and Anthony Gonzalez scored all three of Rantoul's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Rantoul now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Altamont, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rantoul will face off against Urbana at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rantoul will need to watch out since Urbana have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for Altamont, they will challenge Carlyle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
