Soccer Recap: Kingman Academy Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Kingman Academy won the last time they faced Anthem Prep and things went their way on Thursday too. The Kingman Academy Tigers never let the Anthem Prep Eagles onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sydney Kroger, who's now up to 12 this season.

Kingman Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Anthem Prep, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Kingman Academy will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Mountainside at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Anthem Prep, they are taking a road trip to square off against Phoenix Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Anthem Prep's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
