Softball Recap: Woodside Wolverines vs. Bethel Bruins

Woodside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-5 to the Bethel Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 last Tuesday.

Woodside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amiyah Myers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Myers' first of the season.

Woodside now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bethel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Woodside and Bethel will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Wolverines see the field they'll take on Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Bethel, their break will end when they face Phoebus at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th.
