Basketball Recap: Northview's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Northview hadn't done well against East Grand Rapids recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Northview Wildcats walked away with a 60-49 win over the East Grand Rapids Pioneers. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 52-49 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Northview, bringing their record for this year to 14-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for East Grand Rapids, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11.

Looking ahead, Northview will face off against Forest Hills Northern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Forest Hills Northern will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Northview surely won't give up without a fight. East Grand Rapids does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
