Basketball Game Preview: North Florida Christian Eagles vs. Chiles Timberwolves

North Florida Christian and Chiles are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The North Florida Christian Eagles just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Chiles Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

North Florida Christian is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Monday. 2025 welcomed they with a 61-39 loss courtesy of Gadsden County.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Chiles against RePublic last Monday as the squad secured a 65-31 victory. The game marked the Timberwolves' most dominant win of the season.

North Florida Christian better keep an eye on Gabe Parks. He was instrumental in Chiles' win, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Parks a new career-high in steals (eight). Isaiah Bundrage was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Chiles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive contests.

Chiles now has a winning record of 7-6. As for North Florida Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

North Florida Christian ended up a good deal behind Chiles when the teams last played back in December of 2024, losing 70-56. Can North Florida Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
