Softball Recap: Toronto Takes a Loss

Toronto lost against Monroe Central on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Knights came up short against the Seminoles, falling 13-1. The Red Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Isabelle Cattrell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Toronto's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Monroe Central, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-10.

Toronto has already played their next game, a 12-8 win against River on the 12th. As for Monroe Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Bishop Rosecrans on the 13th.
