Basketball Recap: South Summit Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Summit can now relate to. They took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grantsville Cowboys on Wednesday. The Wildcats have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Grantsville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avery Allred, who went 10-for-16 on her way to 22 points. The contest was Allred's eighth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kodee Williams, who posted five points along with ten steals and six assists.

South Summit's record now sits at 18-9. As for Grantsville, their win bumped their record up to 25-2.

As of now, neither South Summit nor Grantsville have any future games scheduled.
