Soccer Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the San Angelo Central Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Bobcats are ranked 114th).

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for San Angelo Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland will head out to take on Midland Legacy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for San Angelo Central, they will face off against Odessa at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
