While Hurricane's win against Spring Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Redskins won by a run and slipped past the Timberwolves 4-3. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kate Justice looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 23 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jaden Jones was excellent, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Hurricane's record is now 22-5. As for Spring Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Hurricane will take on Cabell Midland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Redskins surely won't give up without a fight. Spring Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
