Basketball Recap: Apollo Comes Up Short

Apollo played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Alexandria Cardinals 93-46. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-23.

Alexandria was led to victory by Chase Thompson and Gavin Roderick. Thompson posted 27 points, while Roderick scored 27 points. The contest was Thompson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mason Witt, who put up 14 points.

Apollo's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Alexandria, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
