Basketball Recap: Herbert Hoover Falls to Shady Spring in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Herbert Hoover unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 43-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shady Spring Tigers on Saturday. The Huskies have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Herbert Hoover still got an impressive performance from Riley Johnson, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Miller, who had ten points.

Coming up, Herbert Hoover will be home for the holidays to greet Calvary Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shady Spring, they will venture away from home to face off against Morgantown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
